Had a fantastic day at the Regency Dance Awards 2019 today and made our mum’s proud on Mother’s Day with our results having made all our finals. As I am in the final hour of 2018 I really have a lot to look back on from this year. 1st Olivia’s grandpa Rodney Cafouras passed away very suddenly, Rod and I became very close over the years and I’m honored to call him my friend. He and olivia were very close and it has left a huge void in our lives, we talk of him often and miss him daily. Hope you love that You’re doing a great job mommy Happy 1st mothers day Olivia 2019 shirt.

2nd on May 16 my Mom fell off the toilet and I had to take he to get staples in the top of her head. They decided to do a catscan of her head, and the results of that test revealed a large tumor in her brain. On May 22th the tumor was removed. The very next day the nurse that was taking care of Mom was negligent and let Mom fall out of her raised bed onto her face causing more damage to her face. 3rd I had knee surgery on May 25th it was out patient and I was home that day my knee has healed and is feeling better than it has in years. Have you got this You’re doing a great job mommy Happy 1st mothers day Olivia 2019 shirt?
As I sit and type this, I cannot help but think about my grandparents. You know, I didn’t grow up with any. My mother’s foster parents died the year I was born. My mother met her biological parents when I was barely 10. We didn’t develop a relationship. They passed away shortly after. My father’s parents died during my early tween years. I don’t remember much about them. We didn’t get together often. It was mainly because we couldn’t communicate with them. We were Deaf. So, yeah, I pretty much grew up without the idea of having grandparents. Then came Eric.

Not food related, and a little personal but here goes!! With Mother’s Day tomorrow it has me reflecting on this amazing journey that is motherhood! For those who don’t know me I’m an Australian living as an expat in Singapore with my family, all my 3 kids were born here in Singapore and it has been quite the journey….. My journey as a mum started here in Singapore moving here with my hubby Tom when I was 20 weeks pregnant with twins and after only 5 days in a new country I passed out and was put on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy, little did I know at the time my pregnancy would be over in only 11 short weeks …..
my little dragon babies (Eli and Olivia) came bursting into this world 9 weeks early weighing only 1.5kgs each and fighting for their lives, they were born so quickly that I was put under and I didn’t get to even see them for about 20 hours, we spent over a month in NICU with Eli on life support and having to always ask permission to hold them it was one of the hardest times of my life. The first year of their life was a complete blur of feeding sleeping (or lack of) and endless diapers and I missed my own mum and family back home like crazy, but it bought my husband and I closer, we created great friends here and we survived the first year with twins!
