I loves to giggle and has the most charming, devilish smile looking like he’s up to no good when he’s awake. When asleep, he looks like an angel.
Though I understands everything you say, I am difficult to communicate with unless you speak toddler sign language. Sadly, he lives in a world of his own, isolated from us by his inability to hear clearly due to thick, viscous fluid in my Eustation tubes. Today, God willing, that isolation ends and his hearing improves significantly.
I fell asleep in the car as we took him to Phoenix Children’s Hospital early this morning. At 7AM, Baby Brother had outpatient surgery to put tubes in his ears. The procedure takes only 15 minutes but he had to be put under completely to keep him from squirming around.
All went well. No complications. And now we wait and see how his hearing has improved.
Tonight, I noticed he’d put his fingers to his lips in a SHHHHH manner as we ate dinner, talking and laughing about a number of things….I think that’s a good sign.
Hope you have a nice day with Up To No Good Shirt
