I’ve shared some of Aunt Bessie’s recipes before. She is my Nannie Polly’s sister and a very good cook. She would bring this to Thanksgiving many times over at Papa and Nannies and I chose it over pie just about every time. It’s amazing how many of my old family recipes remind me of certain times in my childhood. This one reminded me of a time we went to visit Aunt Bessie. I am so grateful for your donations to my project, Help me take our library into the 21st century. The students are so excited to come to the library and use the Kindle HD’s. Until now, we did not have any e-readers of any kind for students to utilize. The most exciting part about having the Kindles HD’s available for students is seeing struggling readers wanting to get their hands on them. Students cannot wait until it is their turn to get to use them. The great feature of the Kindles is being able to download the numerous free books of ALL levels, so an elementary student may use them one hour and the next a high school student may use the Kindle. Lastly, students are in the library and excited to read. Thanks to the new technology you have graciously helped to provide to our school, students are clamoring to read.
