Proud owner of a useless pancreas shirt was available at our shop. Yesterday I found out why Trents sugar has been so high. My baby is officially the proud owner of a useless pancreas, his “honeymoon phase” has come to an end. He’s now on a 1:12 ratio and I’m going to try and cut his carbs pretty low and hope for the best! In 3 weeks his A1C went from 6.5 to 8.2, his endo said it would be higher if his pancreas quit sooner. Trents goal A1C by the start of school is 7!! Trenton I love you little man, you are mommys super hero!

Happy 21st Diaversary to meeeee (tomorrow). 21 years of living life with a useless pancreas, but 21 years of living nonetheless. A lot of people think it’s weird to celebrate the day I was diagnosed with a chronic disease, but it’s not the disease we’re celebrating but the years we have survived it. But Proud owner of a useless pancreas shirt. I am so grateful for the technology over the last 21 years and am so looking forward to further developments… namely a cure… derrr. In the mean time… I feel fancy with my new G6…

“Yes, diabetes sucks, if there was a cure, anybody would take it. However, it has given me the OPPORTUNITY to meet so many amazing people and form everlasting bonds. A proud owner of a useless Pancreas!” – Hannah. Most people would see Hannah’s situation with sympathy and pity, but as someone who has had the opportunity to personally get to know her. With Proud owner of a useless pancreas shirt. I couldn’t be more inspired by all she has done for her community and her tenacious soul to help those around her. When you … a useless pancreas
I am a proud owner of a useless pancreas… luckily I learned how to live my life to the fullest with this disease. I have a pump, which is my pancreas on my hip. Then I work a full time job and go to school full time with total control of my disease. I have a fantastic support system. I met the love of my life. I’ve become the dancer I wanted to be. What more can I ask for? This disease sucks and I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone, but it’s definitely made me a strong human being and I know I can handle it all now
