Pink American Flag Breast Cancer Awareness shirt for you. On April 22nd of this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma that has spread to my lymph nodes as well. I’m estrogen, progesterone and HER2 positive. Around that same time it was also discovered that I had skin cancer on my back that would need removed before I started chemo. My first chemo was May 25th with today, September 23rd, being my last. Cancer isn’t pretty. It has taken the most physical and emotional toll on my body and has caused a level of fatigue like I’ve never experienced before.

Pink American Flag shirt
On my 30th birthday I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer: ER-, Her2-, and progesterone+. Genetic testing was negative despite a family history. I had a right lumpectomy with negative margins and negative lymph nodes. Infertility injections started immediately and we harvested 7 eggs and fertilized them. Chemotherapy started Friday the 13th of May; Eight rounds of AC/Taxol I am proud to say I finished on August 19th! Radiation begins September 19th through October 28th. I love Pink American Flag Breast Cancer Awareness shirt and… To everyone out there fighting…don’t be afraid to be afraid. You are not alone. Don’t be afraid to let people help. Don’t lose yourself.
About Breast Cancer Awareness
Stay positive throughout all the negative. This isn’t easy. I haven’t cried this much in my life like I have the past 5 months. It’s okay to let go. I’m afraid of what my future holds, but I am positive I won’t let this chapter of my life define who I am and who I want to be. Keep fighting! Nothing against Pink and breast cancer. Great strides have occurred because of the great surge.
