Resting starters for fear of injury is also a crap argument. Considering how little practice time they’ve had and having just settled on the starters in the last few weeks, as someone who’s been around coaches my whole life, it seems to me the smart thing would have been to leave the starters in and give them the chance gel a little bit and get it together. Especially against a team like FAU which we could dominate.
I’ll restate the same argument I made yesterday. The way we played/looked is why Alabama and Clemson are where they are and why we are where we are. They NEVER take their foot off the gas until the game is over. Why Jack Skellington Fear The Sooners Ohio State? Until we get that attitude, the outside perception of Ohio State is always going to be is that we’re overrated. Just my opinion. Like it or not, I don’t care. I’m not going to debate any responses.
