They also have to be very careful moving Riley while weighing him, because his bones and skin are extremely fragile, and because of his large pressure wound on his sacrum.

Due to the complete removal of the wound’s eschar, and bone showing beneath, Riley is feeling more pain from this wound. Both the plastics and wound care teams say the wound will look much worse before it looks better. Wound care and plastics teams spent an hour and half today putting the wound vac on the wound. It will still have daily treatments with saline, MediHoney, calcium alginate, and mepilex dressings,but will now have wound vac treatments added three times a week.

He seems to only want mountain dew slurpee which even that he only drinks a little of. But at this point we don’t care what he eats or drinks as long as he eats something bcuz he hasnt ate since thursday. Or shall i say friday he had a small portion of chicken noodle soup/jello/apple juice/choclate icecream which he ended up throwing up later. Main goal is for him to eat something & hold it down without throwing up. Also for his fever to away. Hes still been having off & on fevers along with his diarrhea.
