“I wonder how many times I don’t put as much effort into something if I think no one else will notice? The other day I read about a nurse who admitted she used to give less than her best effort when no one would see it. During her night shift she needed to change her patients’ bandages two times. She’d hurry through the first bandage change – doing it correctly, but not as carefully – because no one would see it. She’d be the one to replace it before her shift ended. But with the second bandage change, she did a better job because the nurse on the morning shift would see her work.

One night God reminded her that He sees everything. Maybe no other human eyes noticed her effort, but He does. This changed her perspective – and mine. I want to be faithful in everything God gives me to do, even if no one sees but Him.” — The truth is that even when we think others are watching they usually are not! Remember being a kid? “Look, mom!” all the time and you were right there and missed it. God is truly the only one who never takes His loving eyes off of us because He cares that much.
In Surgical Nursing this is called “a Surgical Concience” – no one sees what you, the nurse performing the task, does but if you fake it, take shortcuts or make mistakes, your SC should compel you to redo the task or confess a mistake & ask for assistance. Get I work the night shift I am batnurse shirt now! That is what good Nursing is all about! I’m very glade to see all these people who love god, it really makes my day. I know he watches over us, and see what no one else sees.. Thank yall god bless you all.
