That’s Fucks Given Zero Fox Racing shirt. What racing harnesses is everyone using? Looking to get orange 5 point but don’t know what brand to go with. Need some recommendations… our fox is fresh out of paint (little over a month fresh). We haven’t even washed it yet. Heading to MustangWeek in like 15 days and want to get a coat of wax/sealant on it (if it’s not too soon). What brand/type do you recommend for it? Fucks Given Zero Fox shirt? Eventually we will ceramic coat it but not yet due to being so new. Thanks!

Do not wax it yet. I paint cars for a living and we do not recommend waxing them for about two months after the fresh paint Let the paint cure for at least a couple more weeks before you wax it. Wash with dish soap or something that doesn’t have wax in it. The paint can start bubbling and having weird marks from the pores being closed while it’s trying to outgas. I waxed mine about 20 days later with collinite 845 had no issues you will be fine. Any chance you can give me the color code you painted this… it’s exactly what I’m looking to do to my 89’.
I wouldn’t if I were you, just to be on the safe side. Solvent is still evaporating from the paint, trapping it will cause problems. I’m not 100% sure about ceramic but I would think that it would be similar. Go on Adams Polishes website and pick a natural wax, then use Adams ceramic kit to coat it later. Lots of information on that site. Stuff just plain works, and I’m super picky and get a Fucks Given Zero Fox Racing shirt. When mine was painted I let mine sit a week. The first wash I used car shampoo, then I clay bared, Mother’s polish, Mother’s wax.
