All my dreams came true. I’m surrounded by wonderful family, friends, wonderful horses and my adorable dogs. I have spoilt them rotten for Christmas and can’t wait for them to open their pressies in the morning! Here’s a brief video of 9 of us having a fabulous and fun ride after work today and my adorable little girl donning her halo for Christmas. My horses and dogs are my alpha and my omega.. Without this selfless man, our rescue would not survive. He works all day, then comes home at night to help me take care of the horses and dogs. It’s never ending the work around this ranch. He wanted to build us a new home… a warmer home for me because our house is so old and cold in the winter… but I begged him to just save his money and help me financially save more dogs and horses… he compromised and added on to our old home. He had a warm dog room built and it has made our lives so much easier. When we met, I thought, “This guy will never want to live the rescue life”. Love horses and dogs
In my life at different times, I’ve had $5 to feed myself and I’ve had $500 to go out to eat. I’ve asked for lifts and given lifts. I’ve had a house full of food and I’ve been without food. My horses and dogs eat before me. I’ve given people clothes. I’ve been given clothes. And I’ve been in stores cashing out with no worries and I’ve also had to add it up and put it back. I will give someone 5 bucks or 50 cents for their bill if they haven’t got enough. I’ve paid my rent in full and in advance and I’ve had to pay it late too. We all have highs and lows in life, some certainly more than others, but we’re all just trying to make it. No one is better than anyone else. No matter how big your house is, how new your car is, or how much money sits in your bank account – we all bleed red and will all die someday. Be kind to others, love without boundaries and share your abundant blessings. Enjoy life! You only get one.
