Well, my sewing is improving! I made this dog jacket this afternoon and my stitching is looking SO much better! Everybody is always talking about how happy their dogs make them. My dog makes me sew happy too. She has a lot of stuffed toys and she loves to take the stuffing out. So I put cotton swabs in them and sew them up. She’s trying to keep me busy.

So I think I have found my new love! I recently started getting more into sewing, and made these holiday projects over the past few days! They aren’t perfect, but I’m pretty proud of how these all turned out! First time making reversible bandanas, fringe bandanas, and stockings! Also, check out that adorable cattle dog fabric. Who says crate training is cruel? Get a Easily distracted by dogs and sewing shirt now. My dogs love their crates! I was in my craft room sewing and all 4 of them walked into their crates and laid down on their own without prompting and stayed there sleeping for hours, doors open. I got up and left the room several times and they stayed there. To them, it’s their own space and gives them a sense of security I think.
Always love dogs and sewing
So this is a huge ask but we are sure there is someone special out there that can make it possible! Samson and Ayah are two VERY special dogs with an amazingly special bond and we would love them to be adopted together. Samson came to us born with no eyes. He was suffering from multiple infections and also had double retained testicles. He had surgery to sew up his open eye sockets to prevent further infections. It was a long process and during his time in care he met Ayah. Ayah came in to care as a tiny pup all the way from Warburton. She arrived with Parvo. Mange, ticks and was very underweight. Her recovery was touch and go but she pulled through. It was clear she wanted company and once she was no longer contagious she met Samson.
Almost immediately they hit it off and have been inseparable ever since. When they had both recovered enough to find forever families, a couple came to meet them, they decided to take them both together but needed to wait two months until they were set up. Wanting them together so much we agreed, fast forward two months and the family informed us this week that their situation has changed and they are no longer in a position to care for them. Leaving us in this predicament about what to do for these two amazing dogs. Have you got Easily distracted by dogs and sewing shirt?
