It’s Pittsburgh Steelers time and I’m one of their biggest fans. Now remember, in life as in football, you won’t go far unless you know where the goal line is. You have to instill this into other football teams so they can rise up, fly, gallop or whatever they do to try and win… Unlike any other business in the United States, sports must preserve an illusion of perfect innocence. The mounting of this illusion defines the purpose and accounts for the immense wealth of American sports. Hope you have a nice day with Dr Seuss I will love my Pittsburgh Steelers here or there I will love my Pittsburgh Steelers everywhere shirt.

Big fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers
Yes. Fans take the relationship with their favorite team very personally. I know I consider the Pittsburgh Steelers a close friend of mine. Sometimes, I would almost think of us as brothers (or at least cousins that really like each other). When they do well, I am genuinely happy for them (and me, as party of their family). When they fail, I share the pain like it is my own failure. Dr Seuss I will love my Pittsburgh Steelers here or there I will love my Pittsburgh Steelers everywhere shirt. Like I’ve said before serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules, and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence.

It is the ceremony of innocence that the fans pay to see – not the game or the match or the bout, but the ritual portrayal of a world in which time stops and all hope remains plausible. And, now listen, which everybody present can recover the blameless expectations of a child, where the forces of light always triumph over the powers of darkness.
