I love Dr Seuss books
My kids love them too. I remember discovering ‘Green eggs and ham’ when I was a kid. I found it hilarious and was hooked from that moment. In my early twenties (many years ago now!), I went to visit Dr Seuss land in Universal Studios,Florida. Wow it was so magical! It felt like being in the book. And i also love Dr Seuss I will love my Giants here or there I will love my Giants everywhere. I hope that I can take my kids to experience the wonky Christmas tree, and all things stripy one day. I made these embroidered and painted cards for two amazing Teachers, one of which dresses as ‘Cat in the Hat’ on world book day.
I love Dr Seuss
Dr Seuss did a great job satirizing America First in a similar fashion as the comedians do today, back in the 1940’s. It is crazy how the rhetoric aligns with what is going on today. This is such an interesting article! I find his early political cartoons fascinating, as well as his evolution into writing and illustrating social-issue-heavy children’s books (with political messages hidden therein). Well worth checking out! I love Dr Seuss.
