World Down Syndrome Day is tomorrow!!! I am going to be traveling, so I thought I would share this today. Down Syndrome does not define who I am. It does not limit my potential. It does not make me unequal as a human being. I am capable of many things and enjoy doing the same things everyone else does. First, I love going to school! I can read, write, speak, use an IPAD, do basic math. I enjoy socializing with my friends at school. That might be my favorite part of school! I am looking at College too! My family and I have already been visiting colleges all around the country! I love swimming, basketball, track and field, fishing, golf, traveling, fashion, watching movies, animals, and art. I love sunshine and the ocean and I love my family and they love me too.
Down Syndrome Day
People all over the world are celebrating this year’s World Down Syndrome Day by participating in events to advocate for the rights of those who are affected. Kids who are born with Down Syndrome aren’t so different from everyone else. A long time ago, I asked my mom about Down syndrome and how I can change who I am,” he said. “But there’s nothing I can do about it. This is me, this is how I was born. So, OK I have it, but I don’t let it define me. I let it motivate me to work that much harder and show everyone that I can do anything. They are recorded on Down syndrome definition shirt.
