Today, my radiology oncologist shook my hand, said, “Happy 4th of July, Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Birthday, Happy Easter, & happy life, you’re finished here & I hope to never see you in this office again!”. (My regular oncology team & an oncology specialist will however see me for scans & checkups every 3 months for the next 3 years, but this is standard procedure). We come to Christmas Meowy Christmas Tree Cat shirt. Though my first scans aren’t scheduled until Aug 13, all of my team feel very confident that the cancer is gone! As they said today, “you’ve got statistics on your side & we see nothing to make us think otherwise.”

Merry christmas
I may have stats on my side, but I’ve had you all, I’ve had my family, I’ve had my coworkers, I’ve had my church family, I’ve had complete strangers, & I’ve had my little guy all on my side. & most importantly, I’ve been held in the hands of God. You’ve all stormed heaven on my behalf. You’ve all encouraged me. Some of you have cried with me, others have cried for me. You’ve all supported me financially, spiritually, physically, & emotionally. You all have been there in so many ways through this fight. And today, I walked away blessed to hear, it’s all good! I’m completely in awe of God & I’m humbled by his mercy & grace.
