I am one happy pitbull momma tonight!! My girl, Dani, had an operation on Monday to have two growths removed. Both were biopsied and both came back as benign skin tumors!! So of course she got an ice cream cone to celebrate her good test results!
My Mom says today is National Dog Fighting Awareness Day, so I figured I would tell you my story in honor of other good boys and girls like me that aren’t quite so lucky. I know its long, but I’m worth it!
My name is Murray and I used to live in San Antonio Texas, but now I live in Upstate New York with my Mom and my Grandma. My vet thinks I’m maybe three or four years old. They know I’m a Pitbull but think I must be a French Mastiff, too, because I’m so droopy. There are a lot of question marks about me and my past, but there is one thing we all know for sure.
In San Antonio, I was used as a bait dog. This means I was too calm, docile and sweet to be aggressive and fight, so they used me to train the other dogs. They taped my snoot closed so I couldn’t bite back, and let other dogs attack me to test their fighting instinct and abilities to later fight for money.
I’m sorry to show you these sad pictures but scroll through them and look how much better I look! Please feel free to share this post to share my story, we need someone to be our voice.
Hope you have a nice day with Back off I have crazy Pitbull mom and I’m not afraid to use her shirt
